Best Little Rainbow

Best Little Rainbow

I painted this little rainbow in 2022, during a time when I was beginning to discover something important about the way I create. I realized I could put my hands directly into the paint, let go of expectations and simply allow movement, color and energy to guide me.

There was something incredibly freeing about creating this way. My hands moved through the colors without worrying about where they were supposed to go, and this wonderfully wild little rainbow emerged.

Looking back, I can see this painting as one of the early moments when I began finding my own artistic voice and trusting the freedom I felt when I created. Sometimes happiness doesn’t need to be complicated; it just needs a little rainbow.

This original acrylic painting is a one–of–a–kind work by Delana Nance of Radiant Works Studio.
