Never Alone

Never Alone

When I look at this painting, I see two different worlds. Above is a mystical place filled with vines, flowers and figures quietly observing the world below. Beneath them, a traveler makes her way through an ever-changing landscape on the back of a mysterious creature, choosing her own path as she moves forward.

I imagine the world above as a place where the people we love are still present. We may not be able to physically see or touch them, but sometimes we can feel them. In my world, they’re watching over us, moving mountains and rearranging the pieces along the way as we continue our own journeys.

There are times in life when the path ahead can feel enormous and we may believe we’re traveling it by ourselves. This painting is my reminder that there may be far more surrounding us than what our eyes can see.

Never Alone is about continuing forward, trusting what we feel and remembering that even when we can’t see the love around us, it can still be there.
