You Create Your World

You Create Your World is a reflection of the deep healing I feel when I’m in nature. Within this piece, the woman in the water sings to the tree and the tree receives her song and transforms it into a glowing portal of energy. That portal then nourishes the roses and the energy flows back to her again.

To me, this painting is about the sacred relationship between ourselves and the natural world. Nature listens, responds and heals. There is a continuous exchange of energy, beauty and life moving through the entire piece. The glowing center feels like a portal, a source of life and creation, while the trees, water and roses each play their own part in the cycle. Everything is connected. Everything is feeding and transforming something else.

You Create Your World expresses how I feel when I’m surrounded by nature. Nature is my ultimate healer. It restores me, speaks to me and reminds me that healing, beauty and creation are always in motion.
